Sophie Braided Straw

The Sophie hat is crafted from braided straw, hand-woven by interlacing dried fibers to achieve a uniform, durable, and flexible weave. This artisanal process ensures a lightweight and long-lasting material. The medium-height crown is well structured and features a central crease with two side pinches, known as vaga and bozze. The style features a wide brim measuring approximately 12 cm. The design is completed with a 4 cm grosgrain band. Handcrafted with care and passion in Italy.
