Alexander Fine Montecristi

The Montecristi Fine hat is crafted from an exceptionally precious material originating from the city of Montecristi, in the Manabí province of Ecuador. In this area, the finest specimens of the dwarf Carludovica Palmata palm are cultivated, from whose leaves the most delicate and refined fibers are selected. The hand-weaving of a single piece may require several months of work. The style stands out for the exceptional quality of its raw material and its iconic shape, with a well-defined crown and brim. The quality of the material combined with expert craftsmanship makes each piece unique. The brim measures approximately 5.5 cm. The design is completed with a 3 cm grosgrain band. The hat comes with a matching box. Handcrafted with care and passion in Italy.
