During Pitti week, Florence becomes Firenze&Fashion: an out-and-out international fashion window full of events and surprises.

RCS Group - in collaboration with Pitti Immagine, Comune di Firenze and the partners supporting the initiative - introduces a multimedia installation open to the public in Piazza della Repubblica from wednesday 20th till sunday 24th which is Florence Patron's Day, San Giovanni Battista.

The installation, named Making Excellence, is a celebration of the savoir-faire and it will develop around nine key words: Craft, Creativity, Project, Culture, Fabric, Technology, People, Visions and Talent which overlap and integrate like in a tag cloud. Borsalino will be placed in the middle of Craft, Talent and People sections and next to the Fabric theme as a root and engine that gave birth and still feeds these values and skills.
